Summer 2024 saw a new hobby - cookie cakes!
Years ago, I worked at a bakery and have always loved baking and decorating cakes for my kids and family. Now that life has settled down and into a nice routine, I'm slowly getting back at it. While I'm by no means a bakery, as I will only offer a few things, the title will stay as Bakery.
More info to come as I try to turn this hobby into a side job and expand flavors and what is offered. For now, here are some examples of cookie cakes I made this year for family and community events.
Softball cookie cake for my daughter's team.
Fourth of July for a family gathering. This was by far my favorite and I love the different blues. This was a cookie cake but fully iced. Double layer too, just because and it fed a lot!
My daughter's cake in beachy blues.
And a real sheet cake with a 3D softball for my daughter's high school team end of season celebration.
Below are two wedding cakes I made. Left is red velvet, cream cheese frosting and fondant. Right is carrot cake and cream cheese frosting. Colors on both were requested by the brides.
Below are older cakes. I loved the 3D baseball cake!
Below are two cakes I made when I worked at a bakery and used the edible spray paint on the crust of the pizza to make it look more realistic and then background of the ocean cake. Both fun cakes!
