Yesterday I thought we'd get festive for the holiday and so Lily and I painted our nails. She hadn't been letting me paint her toe nails for awhile and the two times I've tried to do her finger nails have resulted in instant removal of nail polish and tears. She did not want anything on her fingers! Yesterday was different. And after I painted her toe nails and one hand, she thought it was her turn.

And here are my nails after she painted them. Luckily I found some more nail polish remover and put it to good use with a Qtip ... or 5.
